Sažetak:
We present the WKB method for solving the Schrodinger equation in 1-dimensional Hamiltonian systems. Some important new general results about the structure of the WKB series will be presented. Our working hypotesis (All exactly solvable cases of 1-dim quantum mechanical potentials are also exactly solvable by the WKB method: The WKB series is convergent and its sum equal to the exact result) will be presented, explained and discussed. We shall re-assess the general utility of the WKB method.
